Shared Artist Studio Space

A calm, creative studio space in the heart of Perranporth

The Nook is opening up a small shared artist studio for creatives looking for a peaceful, inspiring place to work from.

This is a medium to long-term studio space for artists, illustrators, designers and makers who want somewhere consistent to create, develop their practice, and be part of a small creative community.

The Space

Our shared studio is light, calm and welcoming, with a relaxed creative feel.

The space is designed for people who want a regular place to work, think, make and connect — without the pressure or busyness of a large co-working space.

Each resident artist will have their own creative station within the shared studio.

Who the space is for

This space may suit:

Artists
Illustrators
Graphic designers
Textile artists
Printmakers
Writers or creative practitioners
Quiet, self-directed makers

We’re especially interested in people who value calm, creativity, mutual respect and community.

What’s included

  • Shared studio space at The Nook

  • Your own creative work station

  • A calm and welcoming environment

  • Access to shared facilities

  • Opportunities to connect with other creatives

  • Potential to host workshops, talks or events

  • The chance to be part of The Nook’s growing creative community

Current availability

We currently have two studio spaces available from June.

These spaces are best suited to creatives looking for a medium to long-term base rather than short-term hot-desking.

A little more than a desk

The Nook is not just a workspace.

It is a wellbeing and creative space built around art, connection and meaningful conversation. We want the resident artist studio to feel supportive, respectful and inspiring — somewhere creatives can do their own thing, while also being part of something gently collaborative.

There may also be opportunities for resident artists to run workshops, exhibit work, or be involved in creative community projects at The Nook.
